1. What is the Lange Nacht der Bühnen?
The Lange Nacht der Bühnen is taking place in Bremen for the first time. On September 21, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 11:00 PM, 15 different venues will present a variety of programs. Following the event, there will be an after-party at Falstaff from 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM, featuring DJ Lady Oelectric.
2. Which venues are participating?
The participating venues are:

Theater, Boulevardtheater Bremen, bremer kriminal theater, bremer shakespeare company, Bremer Tourneetheater at Kulturzentrum Lagerhaus, Bürgerhaus Weserterrassen, Fliegende Funken at Schaulust, Kulturzentrum Schlachthof, Mensch, Puppe! at theaterkontor, Schnürschuh Theater, Schwankhalle / steptext dance project, Theater 11, Theater Bremen (Theater am Goetheplatz, Kleines Haus, Brauhaus, and Brauhauskeller), Wilde Bühne and OpusEinhundert at Theater im Volkshaus, Zentrum für Kunst.
3. What can I experience during the Lange Nacht der Bühnen?
Every hour, different venues offer 30-minute program highlights. These include theater and dance performances, guided tours, open rehearsals, and behind-the-scenes insights. Some program items feature full-length productions. A detailed schedule is available on the website under Timetable or Events, and in the program booklet, which can be picked up at the venues.
4. How much does a ticket cost, and where can I buy one?
There are three price categories for tickets to the Lange Nacht der Bühnen, which you can choose freely:

Children under the age of 3 and companions of individuals with disabilities do not need a ticket or wristband. A ticket for children aged 3 to 12 costs €5. Tickets can be purchased via this website or at the Theater Bremen box office. Wristbands are also available for purchase at the participating venues' box offices. Upon your first entry, the ticket will be exchanged for a wristband, which grants access to the venues.
5. What does a ticket cover?
A ticket grants access to all venues, allowing you to see as many programs as you like, as long as space is available! Additionally, the ticket includes free public transportation on BSAG buses and trams in Bremen (VBN tariff zones 100 and 101) from 1:00 PM on the event day until 3:00 AM the next day.
6. Can I reserve seats for specific programs?
No, seat reservations are not possible. It’s first-come, first-served. If a venue is full, you can attend the next program or visit another nearby venue. The program booklet or the website will indicate where the closest venues are. Program booklets will be available at each venue on September 21.
7. How do I get to the venues?
Most of the venues are located in central Bremen and are easily accessible by public transportation. With your ticket, you can use BSAG buses and trams from 1:00 PM to 3:00 AM within tariff zones 100 and 101. The wristband also includes public transport access.
8. How accessible is the Lange Nacht der Bühnen?
Many of the participating venues offer accessible entry. Information on the accessibility of each venue is available on the website in the event descriptions and in the program booklet. For specific questions, you can contact the LAFDK team at
