tanz_netzwerk_bremen is a platform for the continuing qualification and networking of professional dance practitioners in Bremen. Programs such as regular dance classes, workshops and education formats offer dance professionals the opportunity to work together, strengthen qualifications, learn from each other and create sustainable connections.

Genesis: tanz_netzwerk_bremen PRofessional

From January 2022 until the end of February 2023, the Landesverband freie darstellende Künste organzized and realized the project tanz_netzwerk_bremen PROFESSIONAL, funded by Bureau RITTER within the framework of Tanzpakt Reconnect. The project strenghtened networks of local and national actors of the independent dance scene and promoted the exchange in between variant scenes. 
The goal was to improve working and production conditions as well as the further qualification of dance professionals.

The project was structured around three focal points: the expansion of professional training, workshops and residencies as well as the implementation of a mentoring program.
The broad cooperation alliance of festivals, production facilities and dance schools was continuously expanded. Cooperation partners were: Theater Bremen, Schwankhalle Bremen, tanzbar_bremen, Schaulust, theaterkontor bremen, theaterSCHLACHTHOF, tanzwerk bremen, etage° Bremen, TANZ Bremen, Residance Tenever.

Bremen's dance scene has been strengthened enormously thanks to the support of Bureau RITTER / Tanzpakt Reconnect.

GENESIS: TANZ_NETZWERK_BREMEN CONNECTION

In the first half of the year 2023, the internal network was further expanded with the project tanz_netzwerk_bremen CONNECTION. In addition, trans-regional networking could be established and expanded. An exchange initiated in 2022 with TanzNetzDresden and TanzXchange Münster was intensified: Workshops, a peer to peer-academy and a two-day symposium were jointly organized. In addition, weekly professional trainings were held in Bremen.
Each format focused on the principles of continuity, qualification, networking and diversity in the dance scene.
