BOO! Or How to Shrink Big Fears (ages 4 and up)

The Long Night of the Stages at Zentrum für Kunst in the Tabakquartier presents the audience with four of the five new residents for the 2024/25 season. In the upcoming season, Zentrum für Kunst will host three orchestras or musical ensembles and two dance/theater projects. All ensembles are from Bremen, showcasing the high quality of the local independent art scene: The event kicks off with Ensemble KA2OH, dedicated to dance theater for the very young, presenting an excerpt from their piece “Boo! Or How to Shrink Big Fears” at 4 PM and 5 PM. They will be followed by the franz ensemble, composed of young, internationally renowned soloists and chamber musicians. With the musicians from “Los Temperamentos,” the audience will explore the seemingly contrasting musical worlds of Latin America and Europe in the Baroque era, creating unusual symbioses. The Ensemble New Babylon will close the Long Night of the Stages at Zentrum für Kunst. Together with the Ingen Navn Trio, the artists will experiment with various musical styles, blending contemporary music and jazz to dissolve the boundaries between these genres.
