"A Clown Walks into a Hotel"
By Judith Kuckart and Ensemble
Transit area: the bar in an airport, pure bleakness. A man and a woman are stranded here, having missed their flight—where can they go now? The bar counter becomes their lifeline and the "takeoff ramp" for their cautious acquaintance. They are clowns by profession, but unhappy, as they cannot get what they want, and what they could get, they do not want. But the bartender is—God! Not only does he mix colorful cocktails, but he also turns their lives upside down! Poetry and clowning with three actors.
