"Fools At Work"

The dance ensemble Unusual Symptoms presents excerpts from a production by Samir Akika.

Resident choreographer Samir Akika transforms the stage into a runway of desires and vanities. A red carpet becomes the playground for seven dancers, who together explore the self-perception of artistic work. Inspired by conceptual art and fashion shows, Akika and the dancers blend performative experimentation, artistic activism, and the escapist pleasures of late capitalism into a danced happening that navigates between desire and consumption.
