September 28 is the opening night of the season at the Theater am Goetheplatz. You can get a taste of the rehearsals a week in advance. Director Elsa-Sophie Jach is staging the ancient classic "Antigone" in a modern adaptation by Canadian Anne Carson. A play about the conflict between Antigone and her uncle Creon, who forbids her to bury her brother Polyneikes because he is considered an enemy of the state. Who actually decides what is right and justice? A production with the acting ensemble and music by Lena Geue.
