At the Volkshaus, two theaters share a performance space: Since 2013, Wilde Bühne and Opus Einhundert have been based here, alternating their performances on the stage. They will both be featured during the Long Night: In consecutive time slots, they will present themselves and offer insights into their work.

Is this science fiction, magic, or just intense?

For a whole season, we’ve been exploring wishes and experiences. The result is a piece where we delve into dreams, let our imagination run wild, and must complete a significant challenge.

OpusEinhundert is a non-profit cultural institution based at the Theater im Volkshaus. Since 2011, OpusEinhundert has been designing and realizing inclusive and intergenerational music, dance, and theater projects in Bremen and northern Germany. Culture becomes an occasion for “unique encounters,” “fantastic communal experiences,” and “incomparable moments,” according to participants. With the "Theater im Volkshaus" (TiV), OpusEinhundert offers cultural participation for a wide range of audiences. Since 2013, the house has hosted cultural events such as family theater pieces, concerts, readings, and guest performances, making it a place of encounter, participation, and movement beyond the neighborhood. Many preschool and primary school children enjoy their first theater experience with the traditional family Christmas play.
